There are some things that you can’t avoid, I have run through my buffer during the time that I had no place to work and the beginning of being sick.  This weekend I was taken to the ER and they have given me a lot of medicine to get me back on my feet.  The problem being that I have been unhealthy for so long that I am backed up on everything, so I promise there will be updates, they just may not be regular for the moment.

For the flu or chronic poor timing?

It’s good to know that some holiday traditions always remain the same…even if they are ones peculiar to our family.

This year the trip to the emergency room was my younger brother.  Torn ligaments is the tentative diagnosis.  He should recover but it is havoc for his athletic training schedule, it does however mean he’s home (for medical reasons) when he otherwise wouldn’t have been.  The holidays: always eventful, not always pleasant.  XD

That said here’s where you come in ~ The weather being what it is (freezing rain) I haven’t ventured forth to find a scanner that won’t bleach all work beyond recognition or put weird fuzzy lines through it.  So bear with my horrible digital art filler post for your holiday cheer and you can hopefully look forward to a double post next week (containing the strip for today) when I am returned from the land of unstable internet, work space with a temperature of under 40 degrees, and people who glare at you and heave a heavy sigh when they see you drawing.

I’m at my parents house for the duration kids, and if you see any problems with the site about all I can do is play with it while I’m at home, so give me something to do, right?  =D

Anyway, this is about as final a final site layout as we’ll see, so I look forward to you all showing up…well probably on new years so there will be a significant amount for you to read, who am I kidding.  But “much love” to those who do show up December 2nd.  You know who you are.

So, after a few hiccups, we look like we’re up and running! Now we are getting settled in, if you want to check out our site design while it continues to update you can, but if you want to wait for the comic it will begin regularly updating on the second of December (Dec. 2nd, 2008).
